This 1/4" ID hose is a common size used on diesel vehicles including: VW, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, as well as others. This hose equates to 6.4mm for the metric die-hards out there.

Specs: 1/4" ID, 1/8" Wall, 1/2" OD. This hose is pure, 100% Viton® fluoroelastomer and is also 100% biodiesel resistant. Rated for 400*F continuous.

We highly recommend using ABA hose clamps on this hose, as it is prone to tearing when used with "normal" worm-gear clamps. Clamps #12 and 13 fit this hose well in most applications, (depending on the barb size the hose sits on).
